By reserving or renting a vehicle from Rent N Go Car Rentals, you agree to these terms and conditions. The rental agreement is a binding contract between you and Rent N Go Car Rentals.
The primary renter must be at least 21 years of age and hold a valid driver's license. All additional drivers must be present at pickup and must also hold a valid driver's license. Renters under 25 may be subject to a young driver fee.
A valid credit card is required at time of rental for the security deposit. The deposit hold will be released upon vehicle return, provided the vehicle is returned in the same condition. You are responsible for any damage, fuel shortages, or late return fees.
Vehicles are provided with a full tank. You are required to return the vehicle with a full tank. A refueling fee will apply if the vehicle is returned with less than a full tank.
Each rental includes 400 miles per day. Additional mileage is available at an agreed-upon rate. Excess mileage will be charged at the time of vehicle return.
The first late hour is free of charge. After that, a fee of $35 per hour applies. Please contact us as soon as possible if you expect to be late returning the vehicle.
Cross-border travel into Mexico is permitted with prior authorization. Mexican auto insurance is required by law for all vehicles traveling into Mexico and must be purchased before crossing the border. Rent N Go Car Rentals is not responsible for any incidents, fines, or damage that occur in Mexico.
Vehicles may only be operated by authorized drivers listed on the rental agreement. Vehicles may not be used for commercial purposes, racing, off-roading, or any illegal activity. Smoking in any vehicle is strictly prohibited.
The renter is responsible for all damage to the vehicle during the rental period, regardless of fault. This includes damage from accidents, theft, vandalism, or weather. Insurance options are available — please ask at the counter.

Under California law, renters must be at least 21 years of age. Renters between the ages of 21 and 24 (under 25) are subject to a Young Driver Surcharge at the time of rental. This surcharge is disclosed at the counter before finalizing the agreement. Renters 25 and older are not subject to this fee.
California law requires us to disclose the following: A Collision Damage Waiver (CDW) offered by a rental car company is not insurance. If you accept a CDW, you will not be responsible for any cost of repair or the value of the vehicle up to the stated limit in the event of theft or damage, even if the incident is your fault. Before purchasing a CDW, check your personal auto insurance policy and credit card benefits — you may already be covered for rental vehicles. Declining all coverage means you accept full financial liability for any damage during the rental period.
Supplemental Liability Insurance (SLI) is available at the counter and provides coverage for third-party bodily injury and property damage claims that exceed the minimum required by California law. California requires minimum liability coverage. If you do not have personal auto insurance that covers rental vehicles, you may be financially responsible for damages to third parties. SLI covers up to stated policy limits — please ask for details at the counter.
A credit card hold (security deposit) is placed at the time of pickup. Under California law, renters have the right to receive an itemized statement of all charges deducted from the deposit before any amount is withheld. The deposit is returned within a reasonable time after vehicle return, provided no damage, excess mileage, or other fees are owed. Debit card use may require additional documentation and a larger deposit hold — contact us in advance.
Rent N Go Car Rentals collects personal information such as name, contact details, driver's license number, and payment information solely to process your rental and comply with legal obligations. We do not sell your personal information. California residents have the right to: (1) know what personal information is collected; (2) request deletion of personal information; (3) opt out of the sale of personal information (we do not sell data); (4) non-discrimination for exercising these rights. California law requires that the cost of any refueling charge, and the per-gallon rate applied, be disclosed before you sign the rental agreement. If a vehicle is returned without a full tank, a refueling service charge plus the cost of fuel at the current local rate will be applied. You may avoid this charge by returning the vehicle with a full tank of fuel.
